It all began with a thoughtful call from Ms. Nida, the dynamic HR head at Siemens company, based in the heart of Cyber Hub, Gurgaon. She had a beautiful idea:
“Let’s celebrate Women’s Day in a way that uplifts, energizes, and empowers our team — something different, something unforgettable!”

And that’s when she reached out to us at First Dance Company for a Salsa Dance Workshop specially curated for their incredible employees.


A Women’s Day with a Twist (and a Turn!)

To honour the spirit of the day, our Artistic Director, Amir Saifi — an internationally recognized Salsa and Bachata artist — designed an exclusive beginner-friendly salsa session that wasn’t just about learning dance moves. It was about celebrating womanhood, building confidence, and bringing joy to the workplace.

From the moment the music started, the vibe transformed. Suits and spreadsheets made way for sways and spins. The workspace turned into a vibrant dance zone filled with laughter, rhythm, and sisterhood.

My encounter with magic happened when I came across First Dance, I consider that as the magical day when I visit First Dance Studio a month ago. It has brought back dance in me. I always love dancing but I was never regular with it. But from the time I am associated with First Dance, it has brought regularity in my dancing and I make sure that I don’t miss it, otherwise, we have a tendency to take things for granted.

For a dancer, your surroundings play a significant role, the floor, space, environment, the energy all these factors connect you to your art form more efficiently, and guess what in Delhi Gurgaon no other place than first dance can provide all these things.

They have teachers who are trained from globally recognized masters and they themselves have participated in international competitions and have won many. From technique to technicality they focus on everything which makes it a perfect place for a dancer to be at.

And above all, you meet beautiful souls who are keen to give you so much, not just a class but a lifetime memory and bond that will never make you forget First Dance wherever you go.

I came there to learn belly dancing but today I am learning Bollywood, Salsa-Bachata along with belly dancing, and trust me if you are an enthusiastic dancer you can’t stop yourself to grab all the learnings which they provide with so much dedication and love. And the picture doesn’t end here they take each student as a new opportunity and work on you closely.
